The Bagel Table - CHESTNUT HILL

I would describe the lox spread more like a red onion spread.

Overall, we have always enjoyed the Bagel Table! However, until today, we had only been to the Natick location. We decided to try the Chestnut Hill restaurant, and unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The selection was limited, and the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. Please be aware that the ceiling is in very poor condition, and you’ll notice it clearly if you choose to eat there.

I recently visited this restaurant but ended up leaving because of a staff member's rude behavior. When I asked about an ingredient that they apparently had run out of, the woman was very unfriendly. I mentioned that there was no need for her to be rude as she waved the sign indicating everything was unavailable, and then she rolled her eyes and sighed. I chose to leave immediately. They definitely need to work on their customer service.

We went in to get fresh bagels, but they were stale and probably a day old. Recommend you go somewhere else.

A bagel place that doesn 't even make bagels..? They use bagels from a bag which is why they aren 't fresh or crisp (mentioned in a lot of other reviews). Might as well just buy a pack 6 bagels from Star Market next door
