Basically Halal - Richmond

It's a really nice store for all the generic middle eastern/ Mediterranean delicacies. I would have liked to see more fresh baked goods at least daily it would be a very nice addition to the store and more organically and less processed treats and sweets. But, overall, it does have the essentials that one may need to keep the household kitchen running. It's better than not having one at all. When I lived down in Norfolk long time ago, I used to drive up to Richmond a few times a month just to find a similar store like this to get my Mediterranean essentials at least. So it's good to have these locally. I'm grateful for it.

Highly recommend, the philly cheese steak is a personal favorite. Try their sauces too, they have several to choose from. It's clean, the service is good and they even added some outside seating.

The food here is amazing, anything you get you will not be disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and really pay attention to their customers. I personally always get the chicken shawarma and ask for extra garlic paste, hits the spot every time. You also must try the yogurt drink called Ayran, super good and very healthy. 5 Stars all day for these guys.

I usually purchase the falafel platter. When the restaurant first opened it was delicious. Today I ordered the same platter. Over the past few months, I have ordered 3; each time, it was not as good as the first order. Today was the worst one I've eaten. It is a simple platter to make so NOT sure why it keeps getting worse. I will not be ordering again.

Best halal food in Richmond iny opinion. Unfortunately not the best location and pretty pricey!
