Le Bilig - Châteaubriant

We visited an evening meal and were very glad that we thought to ring and make a reservation earlier a day. The restaurant was packed. We had two of the menu du gourmet with 28 € each and the food was very good. Freshly prepared and well presented. The staff was very friendly and had time to explain what the menus were. We had two beers to start and had a Pichet local red wine. the sum for our meal was €72.40. The atmosphere was warm and jolly.

If you want to decide where you ever had your best G&C you will first have to try them in LE BILIG for a final decision. A pity if you wouldn't!

Recommended by a local business associate our small party stopped here for a light lunch on a Friday afternoon. Traditional Restaurant located in the Place Saint-Nicholas offering a very wide selection of Galettes and Crepes. Warmly welcomed and shown to our table, the food duly...arrived after a short wait (it was peak time and very busy) and we were not disappointed as all of the dishes were very well prepared and delicious. We also tried the Cidre Artisanal in the special cups which really complemented the meal. Well worth a stopover when visiting Chateaubriant but suggest to arrive in good time as it does appear to be very popular.
