Le Peep - Charlotte

The food was very good. However I was surprised when a breakfast/brunch restaurant did not have real maple syrup available. Our order had to be changed as a result. The service was excellent.

If I could give zero stars I would. We went to breakfast on a Tuesday for my son's birthday. We waited to be greeted 25 minutes, while two servers rolled silverwear. No acknowledgement. Finally the person who sat us realized we were never helped. The server then came over unapologetically and took our order even though i could see her and she could see me the entire time she rolled silverware. Because the server was so rude we asked for the manager. The manager came out even less apologetic and we just decided not to say anything because it was apparent the bad attitude of the server came from the manager. The hostess graciously took over our table. We received a full check even though our order was wrong and we waited an extended period. No problem on the check but this place is one of few breakfast places in the area. Next time I will drive to Ballantyne. Worst service I have had in a long time.

Little hidden gem. You might miss this place if you're not looking hard enough and then you would miss out. Victor took care of me and the service was impeccable. I had their BLT and tomato soup, it was on the next level!!! I will definitely be back, so yummy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Another old Charlotte classic down the drain. Food and service are finally in the crapper. I went several times since the pandemic and there was always a problem and I kept hoping they would pull it together. Unfortunately this week they messed up again and the servers didn 't speak enough English to help me and had to forward me to management. Management didn 't have the ability to help so they forwarded me to ownership. I thought for sure the owner would take care of a loyal customer and make things right but sadly ownership failed. I don 't recommend Le Peep to anyone any longer. You run a strong chance of something running a foul and when that happens no one cares enough to fix it.

We have not been to Le Peep since before the pandemic. We are so happy to have returned. We both chose the build your own omelette. I added spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and green peppers. My husband added the corned beef hash and the cheddar and jack cheese. We both chose the grits. He had the toast and I had the english muffin. We enjoyed everything. The portion sizes were large. This has become one of my go-to breakfast locations.Parking: There is an enormous parking lot surrounding Le Peep.
