Always great food, always great service! The cheesy grottos are SOOO good.

Be careful! You can get your meal. You can get it in an hour or more. You can get it after everyone at your party has eaten, paid and left. You might have to ask if they're still taking your food. You can just put your food in a box instead of a plate. The waitress doesn't tell you if they have problems in the kitchen. The manager will come and make stories about things. Promise to get your food right away, then your food will die. Drinks are not refilled in time. Eating is too expensive. Service is very moderate. The waitress spilled chips on the floor outside the kitchen door and never came back to get them so that stacks of crushed chips were tracked over the floor. Managers and waiting staff have no idea of doing things right. So be careful or avoid this place! Update: The owner reached out to ask more details about my experience. I answered by e-mail. But the address that the owner put in his answer to my review broke back with such a user error. I guess her email works as well as her kitchen.

I had the worst chicken wings I ever tasted. For $19 dollars there was no sauce on the wings, the sauce was under half the Soggy-Fries.

We wanted to try the Hickory Tavern for a while. Unfortunately, our first visit will be our last one. My husband ordered the hamburger, he enjoyed it. My SIL ordered the shrimps and glands that she said she was not good at all. I ordered the steak tacos and a chicken and rice bowl?. everything was cold. Not sure if it is or not. I just boxed it up to take it home and see it again. The mango cocktail I ordered was not pleasant. But the waiter was very nice and sweet! I think this could be a kitchen problem. This is such a great place, but the food is missing.

I had the wood plank salmon with a tavern salad and brussel sprouts with bacon. Angel was my server and she was polite and attentive. Only 10 minutes to be served. Great and healthy meal.
