Contribuiți la feedbackI read mixed reviews at this airport restaurant, but it looked a lot and eating looked good, so I decided to try. I sat at the bar because the restaurant was at a waiting time. the bartender was friendly and was good to give me recommendations even if he was busy. I took them and ordered the Brussel spears and a mushroom chicken sandwich . the brussel sprouts did not look very good, but they tasted great. some were the edge of the burned and edible; they were roasted with a swash and very tasteful. I would recommend that. the chicken sandwich was on chibatta brot, a little to much brot for the huh, but the sandwich was delicious. the local tomatoes were solid and sweet and the truffle aioli has added creamy. they have only a little flattered) everything, definitiw above average food and service. the guy next to me said his pizza was amazing.
Good spot for a “real meal” if you have enough time at the airport traveler traffic has picked up quite bit here in summer 2022 so expect a long wait servers are friendly space was comfortable food was aboveAverage for airport food
Hungry? Have more than an hour layover? This is a sit down restaurant on the Charlotte airport main concourse. They have an express deli section for grab and go foods like sandwiches and personal pizzas, but the sit down area has great food. We tried the grilled brussel sprouts on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised. They were almost crunchy and served with several ingredients mixed in. My wife had a huge burger and we also shared some chicken strips. The bill came to more than $50 with the tip. Most dishes are $15-$20, but it's an airport, so you expect high prices. This is a much better choice than all of the fast food chains.
I had a Neese County Burger, which was average at best. It was supposed to have pimento and cheese, I saw maybe a thimble of cheese but that was it…the meat was over cooked and actually charred in places. Especially disappointed in the tuck time. It was 9 PM so not a dinner rush hour. The restaurant maybe was 1/4 full, three cooks behind the counter and it took 30 minutes to get my burger. The parmigiana fries were okay but obviously had set a bit before serving. I expect better from a $17 burger.
So, you’re stuck at the airport because of an AA flight delay, what does one do for dinner? We looked and looked at what choices were available (very limited for seated dining), and chose this restaurant. Limited choices of burgers, salads, pizzas, etc, but the chicken tenders and chicken sandwich and fries were quite tasty with some drinks. Would be a repeat choice for us, if we’re stuck again in the airport for a few hours.
