Saffron Bakery - Charleston

Food was good. However, it was very hard to get taken care of by our waitress. We waited an hour for our ticket. The bathroom was very unclean. The food was overpriced.

Visiting from Houston where we have a large amount of this kind of food, and this was the best hummus I ever tasted.

Maybe the food is good if a waiter actually shows up.10/10 would recommend East Bay Deli right across the street.

Our expectations were too high. This is a nice place for breakfast. We walked a long way to get there.

Falafel and hummus was great. Lobster Crab salad sandwich was good, pasta salad good, just needed some seasoning. Reuben was tough and bread was soggy. Fruit cup mediocre.Waiter was NOT friendly at all. He acts like he hates his job and we were a nuisance to him. Talked with table next to us before we left and they said the waiter was horrible too. He really should be in the back of the house. We decided to get dessert somewhere else that had a more welcoming spirit.
