La Cab' - Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Le Cab is just on the cable car so perfect location to have a coffee or beer after you have returned the mountain. Good location to meet your transport. Charming little restaurant/bar.

Wanted to wait for others who wanted to ski and found this perfect café! Small, warm, beautiful music and great service.

Only dropped in for drinks after coming down on the cable car from Brevent. You can't miss this place as it was packed at 5.00pm. Stick your board in the snow and squeeze past the many quests on the front/side terrace as well as those...inside. Service was quick and jovial. Seemed full of Brits when we went lol. Warm wine was excellent and not badly priced for Chamonix. Would definately visit again.

I visited this unprotenous and friendly bar twice on my trip to Chamonix. Although the beer could have been bit more exciting than Heineken! I really enjoyed sitting outside, watching the (skiing) world go by. The artisan prepared food looked spectacular the Juliette Binoche...lookalike behind the bar took a real pride in her bar, which was refreshing. I was always very happy when my instructor told me I was going to ski at Brevant. Because It meant I'd end the day relaxing at this lovely bar.

La Cab' is opposite the Gondola up to the slopes and I would highly recommend taking the 6-7 mins journey off the slopes to go and have your lunch here rather than any restaurant on the mountain. Granted you don't get the view but you...get reasonably priced beer, a happy helpful waiter and the best La Croute in the resort! Yummy!
