San Jose And Bakery - Chachapoyas

Delicious food, amazing customer service, beautiful quiet atmosphere. We visited this place for breakfast when visiting Chachapoyas and went back to lunch and dinner! The San Jose breakfast is delicious and very reasonable price. Upstairs there is a spacious restaurant, on the ground floor a small bakery shop.

You have a ton of local bread and my favorite handmade Peruvian churros. We also bought cheese from their cheese selection in the back. had to come back twice, so good were the Churros:

The restaurant was closed when I visited. I bought some bread from the bakery, the Baguettes are very nice (very hard to find good bread in Peru) but the rolls were dry and sweet. The chicken emanadas are delicious.

The staff is friendly and remembered my preferences shortly after I saw a few times. The pastries are good and the juices. My favorite dish was the Ensalada de verduras with the dressing- this is the best deal in the city I found for a legitimate salad. Also clean with WIFI.

Beautiful place it was a bit deceiving at first as it looks like a bakery, but when you get in side it's beautiful. Service was amazing, food was excellent and well priced ..
