Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - Cerritos

The food and service were excellent overall. The portions meant for two could easily satisfy three people; my friend and I ended up needing four takeout boxes for our leftovers. JBBQ is on the pricier side, but the combo deals make it a bit more affordable for a special occasion. Gyu-Kaku offers a fusion of Japanese and Korean cuisine, featuring a significant amount of Korean dishes.

I went for a late birthday dinner, and I have to say the food was excellent—truly a great experience overall. My only slight complaint was that while making s'mores, the pilot light kept going out. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and I will definitely be back!

There's nothing quite like a rainy night after a long day of work spent with your best friend. The beef was fantastic, and the fried chicken and cucumber were simply delicious—I can't wait to have more! Next time, I plan to bring along more friends. I’ll be heading back to the same restaurant, which is conveniently located in Pasadena. They have a variety of locations, and it's clearly a very successful business!

The menu has been updated so o decided to update my review. First of all this place has the marinated meat you can possibly eat. It is the king of all meats so tender and juicy. Plus the employees have great customer service. I recommend this place for any special occasion. Do not hesitate to come because it will be the best decision of your life . The prices are a bit pricy however it is worth it because you feel very full

The food here is incredible. Although I’m not usually a fan of Korean BBQ, this place offers a much better experience. Some of the meats are marinated and taste fantastic. The side dishes are also excellent, and I didn’t feel like I was just eating meat. I highly recommend giving it a try!
