Su Casteddhru - CASARANO

The restaurant is nicely located, despite some lousy waitresses, good for families, but when the restaurant cheats the customer during the second visit, with massively overpriced fish of the day, then we lose all our respect for the place. We paid 80 € for two relatively small sea breams (around 3 400 each, they claimed 600 which it was definitely not! But even then, by far more expensive than in the best restaurants in the region). They served an expensive red wine in a cooking temperature. Avoid this tourist trap!

The Starter was great and the Pasta Aglio e Olio con Pepperonchini was amazing. I will go next Time again.

Visited the restaurant with 4 adults and 3 children . Nice menu and friendly service even if the service was quite slow . Seems that the main two servers are the only ones to take drinks and food orders as the others seem quite inexperienced. Food was nice but not exceptional and we had to keep asking for items that were missing but this could have been just a misunderstanding in language. We also had to ask for more drinks rather than be offered more by the waitress. We thought that for the overall service and quality it was a little pricey but nice location and setting . I think that many restaurants in Salento offer good quality food and service but sometimes over stretch themselves during the busiest summer months .

Ambiente elegante con atmosfera chic. Il menu propone piatti tipici salentini, tra cui ho apprezzato un antipasto di fave e cicoria con crostini deliziosi. Le acciughe fritte erano leggere e deliziose. Il personale era disponibile, ma non forniva consigli sui piatti.

Cibo delizioso. fatto bene e qualità. Ho preso gli schiaffi alle scogliere, abbondanti e deliziosi, un caffè e vino bianco. in due spese, tuttavia, 54 euro. molto più di quanto pensassi. Ma paghi ancora la copertura? Con un tovagliolo di carta, allora?
