Meson Isla Plana - Cartagena

This restaurant is now closed expect a block of apartments in the next year or so such a shame but the social is now run by the owner so there is a drinking alternative

Stopped in lsla Plana for 3 weeks and came here about twice a week.We had tapas,and menu of the day.No complaints at all.The staff are very nice.The menu is Spanish and translated in English.The quality,and quantity of food you get is fine.Probably too much,with 4 courses for €11,plus a Tanka,or coke.Very friendly,muy amable staff.No rush here,your at a typical Spanish restaurant.Locals having a drink,chat and a customers from all over Europe.The restaurant is huge by the way,just step inside you'll see.Thanks,

We ate here 4 times during our month in Spain, and each time the food was of the highest standard, matched by the excellent service. there are many tables, outside in a walled garden, the main restauarant which is air conditioned and outside at the front. The choice of foods is quite varied, and the sweets are all made on the premises, and are extremely tasty and of course low calorie !! Opening hours vary in June, but July and August its open most of the time.

This is not a good menu of the day from what we ordered we would not have had anything firstly took our order no bread had to ask then starter came soup was like water small lasagne was ok then sometime later were told no main course left so choose something else our friends ended up having lasagne as main corse that came out same size as starter no chips then mine came out no what I asked for all together not worth money didn’t have 10 euros worth service was Terriible

Have always enjoyed the great food here but what makes the whole experience 5 star is the excellent service from Noelia, the waitress. She always has a smile and great advice. I can honestly say she has been the best waitress I have come across in Spain in all my years living here. As a family we always enjoy the food and service in Meson Isla Plana.
