Palm Meadows Golf Course - CARRARA

Golf Course layout is really good,but the greens were second rate, on the other hand I suggest the worker in the Proshop should be updated with the movements around the place. Arrived on Tuesday for a game in the comp only to find the comp had been cancelled. Then that night went on to my golf website only to find the results of the days comp play!!! There cart movements should be improved. Was told I had to share a cart with another person only to be snubbed. Went back into the Proshop to get a cart by myself and almost had an argument cause the worker said he was trying to preserve the carts for others. If you pay $99.00 for a game and a cart you should get what you paid for with no issues!!

Played today and unfortunately the course has slipped in recent years and no longer holds itself as a top course on the Gold Coast. The course itself is very rundown, all bunkers are out of play and the greens are in a terrible state for the cost of green fees.

Small bar with a selection of tap beers. Kitchen open until 2.30pm. Some nice views over pond parkland. Plenty of parking close by good toilet facilities. not a lot of atmosphere unfortunately)

The bad, Bunkers had very little sand , pictures show nice white sand, coarse itself was very nice to hit off.

Great course and young fella in the pro shop is gold !! 48 years as a golfer I've never seen so many un-repaired pitch marks, it's heartbreaking.
