Me encantó mucho y barato comer excelente tratamiento y restaurante
Due to heavy rain and a high rating on TA we went into this, the nearest restaurant to the underground car park. The welcome was warm and we chose the fixed price menu for our lunch. We both enjoyed our spring rolls and the sweet and sour pork was okay. The accompanying rice was tasty. The Ladies toilet was not great. I struggled to close the door and couldn’t lock it, then I had to drag the door open again with my fingertips. I had looked around outside the toilet for a light switch but couldn’t find one either outside or inside, so I had to use my phone’s torch to see, as it’s very dark in there. The floor was flooded possibly to do with the rain? This made it difficult for me, as I had a long skirt on. Perhaps a different building would enable the business owner to offer a better experience. The high rating on TA was probably due to there not being many reviews as yet.
Stay with me where because this included one of the culinary highlights of our 16 days travelling in Spain. The approach over an archway into a rather tired and neglected-looking dining room suggested we were taking a risk. But after several days of Spanish food we fancied a change. And at 6.50 Euros per head it wasn't going to break the bank! A limited choice was offered. We started with a spring roll. Clearly home made. Tasty and authentic. Perhaps cooked a little to long (or too hot) but very enjoyable. Main course was delicious rice (from memory it was called that on the English and Spanish menu) with a choice of three mains. I had the best sweet and sour pork I've ever eaten. My wife had a very good chicken and cashew nuts. Absolutely first class. We passed on what seemed to be a typical Spanish range of postres/puddings (flan, ice cream etc). Soft drink included with an additional beer at 1.35 this was the unexpected and probably most memorable meal of our trip. If you fancy a change take the plunge in China Town!
We ended up here because there was no where else to eat. We were the only people there. Certainly no atmosphere but service ok. Wine terrible . Food medium .
