Flaming Wood Bbq - Carmel

The roads were blocked for the Carmel Marathon, so I drove around and saw the Woody's BBQ truck. I came right when they opened and ordered the pulled pork, brisket meal, and hot link. They were so friendly! The meat was tender and flavorful. I liked the sweet/spicy BBQ sauce. My only regret was not ordering the chicken to try and getting extra sauce.

This place is only open seasonally. Located at the corner of 106 and college in Carmel-on Saturdays it's basically a food truck). I got the meal- brisket sandwich with their BBQ sauce I did half mild sauce half spicy sauce), cold slaw, and baked beans. Everything was delicious, especially the baked beans and BBQ sauce. They had various other meats on the menu as well pulled pork, ribs, etc). It was a little pricey for BBQ $16 for the meal or $10 for the sandwich alone).

Good people! Great ribs, brats, pulled pork, and chicken! Hot right off the grill Get ' 'em before they 're gone!

Woody's catered a briquet and pulled-pork meal for 100 at my office today. Also included homemade mac and cheese and slaw. Perfect execution in every regard. Absolutely delicious. We will have them back soon.

This place is great for bbq. Its a great big trailer and I think he smokes the food right in the trailer! I went for lunch had the ribs and they were awesome. I went back up and got a smoked chicken for dinner. The slaw was pretty good too, but the barbecue was awesome. It was also cool that the guy working was Woody!
