Contribuiți la feedbackBeautiful hotel, nice rooms, great amenities but always feels overcrowded and overbooked. The kids pool area is nearly impossible to find an open chair on weekends and always packed. Adult pool however is nearly empty. Staff is super nice and helpful.Rooms: 5/5
I had booked the wrong date but I didn't realize it until we showed up at the hotel because I was visiting family the day before. BUT I NEVER received a email telling me its time to check in etc. to alert the hotel my dates where wrong. Upon arrival there was no effort made to help me and my family get a room for Saturday night. Nothing not a refund, not a credit for later time not even a resort dining credit! nothing! that has NEVER happened to me in all my years of working with hotels that nothing was offered to maintain some level of customer service wince the room was able to be resold but no kindness showed towards me. I never felt comfortable or welcome from them it was like I was not accepted by the hotel chain and I felt unworthy of staying at the hotel.
I hardly ever complain and understand that no facility or service is ever perfect, however when multiple issues arise without remedy, it hinders the customer experience. Here are several things would like to convey 1. I kindly requested prior to my arrival as I am allergic to certain animals and hotel assured, they will “Deep clean” upon arrival into my room I noticed 1/4 inch of dust on the vents and suction area, 1/4 inch dust on bathroom vent. So I asked front staff who was very courteous and responsive that he would send somebody to at least vacuum , change out the hvac filter. That day nothing happened, day 2 still nothing, checked out, still nothing. Throats itchy all night, so took bunch of allergy pills. 2. After my 4pm checkin went to the pool. 4:50 pm I asked if I can please purchase drinks and was told “ we are closing, I can get you beer only “ OK no big deal but I guess motivation is minimal. 3. New day today, day #2, you ignore negatives and focus on positives . Went to pool. Employees standing around, asked for bench cover, employee hands out 3 to my wife, she’s struggling with it , no one even asks to assist to place any envelope covers . After we do it ourselves which again I don’t mind but , they’re walking around and not one smile. No one asks if we have any requests, food or drinks. Actually, only one employee here I see who’s hustling .Finally after being super nice to the staff, did they start asking if we wanted anything. Once again Im back at work, satisfying my customers oh im sorry I think this time I am one. Positives, front staff and concierge very nice , responsive (except for sending someon to clean the room full of dust) and accommodating. Restaurants staff great , responsive and with positive attitudes . especially Point Lago I also realize customers can be demanding and tiring, however on a Thursday , young staff cannot be this unmotivated. In addition, all the dust around filters and room only means that has not been clean for months. In addition, one can overlook certain issues as I said things cannot always be perfect however, something has to give. I hope this reply to this review isn 't a Canned generated message.
This place is amazing with amazing service. I want to Thank everyone that works there. From check-in to the pool throughout the entire property the staff was very attentive and provide a great service and the amenities were just amazing throughout the property.
The place is amazing, the golf course is spectacular and the attention is superior. This hotel surpassed my expectations. The room are very comfortable and spacious and the views from the room as well the restaurant are very relaxing and peacefull
