J Box - Carlsbad

J Box The Island is definitely my favorite lunch spot. I visit at least 1 or 2 times each week. They offer the freshest poke I've ever had. Other poke places just don't measure up anymore; every time I try a different one, I can't help but compare it to theirs, and it always falls short.

Wow, this was amazing! I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be some of the best food I've ever tasted. I ordered the bento box, and it came with a generous amount of food and a drink! The chicken was incredibly tender and just melted in my mouth—it was outstanding. Everything else included was fantastic as well! The portions were great, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!

I'm not usually a fan of poke bowls, but I have to say the one I tried here for lunch exceeded my expectations. The fish tasted fresh, and the salmon was nice and fatty. Overall, it turned out to be a great and satisfying lunch!

Food was ok but not great and the staff not friendly. Likely wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend.

Great spot for lunch I like the bowl with chicken or beef. Or the bento box that is quite large.
