Waffle House - Carencro

The folks down at waffle house are always so friendly and inviting... I love the speed of service and the food is awesome.

The staff here was exceptionally helpful. Our child has serious food allergies, and they went above and beyond to ensure his safety. A big shoutout to the team!

The next thing that caught my attention was the red sign detailing all the EXTRA charges for a to-go order. They automatically add a tip to your bill, and you also have to pay for the supplies provided with your takeout. Seriously? Should I bring my own plate and utensils for you to serve my food? I asked for a spoon to eat my grits, but they had NO SPOONS available! Who eats grits with a fork? The utensil package was unsanitary, covered in syrup, so I ended up paying for dirty utensils. To make matters worse, my grits had chunks of uncooked, hard grits in them. Maybe I needed the knife and fork to cut through the hard pieces. This Waffle House charges more than any other location I've ordered from. Why is that? Even though this is a new Waffle House, I would advise you to steer clear. The service was absolutely horrible.

I visited this Waffle House with a friend, and we both agreed it was the best one we had ever been to. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The young man with the tattooed arm provided exceptional service.

Our server was very courteous and got us everything we needed. The food was great. Prices were very good.
