Palo Verde At The Boulders Resort

Original booking thru Open Table ask for outdoor seating; I called the Front Desk to confirm and also asked for outdoor seating. On arrival no hostess so that we were waiting for 10 minutes, then we were told that “There was no mention of the outside seats”, but they could sit inside. Although our breakfast took an hour to get the food was excellent! We could return, but seriously there are so many wonderful restaurants in our beautiful area so that the feeling that details have been missed and staff limited not sure whether we will return.

We had a very pleasant meal, and the waiting staff was excellent. The Maitre was stopped and was very tight and fitting. We had the tsartoin and the bass....both were delicious.

It is a fun atmosphere of service was great. We had Nachos and we both loved her. I loved Enchiladas cheese. My husband had the surfing and Turf Burrito he said best Burrito he ever had.

Menu with enough options. Beautiful presentation and good flavors.

A little confusing finding the place as I have never been to the resort, but the staff was helpful. Nice ambiance where you could hear each other talk, see the menu and it wasn’t crowded. Good change of pace from the self serving “cage-free” moral superiority pledges we see more and more on menus; just good food and fairly nonchelant. Food and drinks came out quickly. Excellent chorizo enchiladas; I will order those again. Waffles were another solid choice. Pricing was better than average for a Scottsdale resort. Only suggestion would be to not take or list reservation availabilities at closing time. Definitely recommended.
