Shamone - CAPE MAY

We absolutely loved it! Such a fun place for a night out!

My husband and I had brunch there for the first time and the food, service and ambiance was perfect! It’s great that is a BYOB and we enjoyed some nice Mimosas with the Orange Juice you can purchase there. And you can’t beat $15 a person for all you can eat ! We will be back to check out dinner!!

You must try Shamone. It's a tiny place, only about 10 tables. The personal service is off the charts. Each course was better than the one that came before it. Great value for the food and the experience.

First time we had breakfast there. The food was great, the service was good and an excellent value. Wish the music could have been just a little lower, but I’m old and it probably wasn’t that loud

It is an interesting concept and the food was quite good. We all had to wait outside to be admitted one rable at a time at 7pm. It was all a bit dramatic, but that may have been part of the Halloween theme. The meal was slow, as each plate (the first few plates were just one bite) is brought out by the one server to each of the tables individually. It was a full house and there were 19 people. Everything was tasty to us, but the inability to know what you are getting or have any ability to select what you get may throw people off. They were very solicitous in calling the prior day to ensure there were no dietary restrictions. We didn't have any, so not sure what would have happened if we did. Finally, by the time of the entree courses, we started to feel like we'd had a meal. Bring lots of wine as you are there a while. Somewhat surprised that there wasn't a dessert course, but apparently that was extra. We were late for the next engagement, so skipped that.
