Come and check out the mountain area in Canton TX. 542 E Dallas St, Canton, TX 75103 We are open until 11pm tonight then tomorrow 7am 7 p.m. There will be tons of great music, great people, and great food. And today is Halloween so come bring the kids out and trick or treat and have tons of Halloween fun. Plus its less crowded up here. I have anticipated going to The Mountain for so long. This would be the perfect place to shop, eat, and stay while in East Texas. Sadly, the heyday has long pasted. I guess you would call it a recreation of an old western town. It really is cool. Just deserted. We were there about 1pm. The shop owner we talked to said it livens up after 5 when the trade days shuts down. The places we did go in were pretty neat. There are several Bed and Bath places to stay. It's only worth coming to shop on the weekend of First Monday Trade Days. I'm sure the Bed and Bath places would love to have you anytime! If you pass through Canton, check it out!
