Cocorea Korean Restaurant - Canberra

Visiting Canberra, I gave Cocorea a try. Situated next to the fountain in the Civic town square, Cocorea is a delight. Quick and friendly service, with the flexibility to dine in or takeaway.Prices range from $13 $18, and you will not be left hungry.I tried the Bi Bim Bap (cooked egg I wasn’t game enough for the raw egg in a sizzling bowl today).I’d highly recommend Cocorea for a tasty, satisfying lunch.

The Korean food at this restaurant is both fast and delicious. I have tried every item on the menu and have not been disappointed. The stone bowl bibimbap is served hot and sizzling with a shiny egg yolk on top of the toppings. Simply add a spoonful or two of hot sauce, mix well, and enjoy. The soups are perfect for a winter night, providing warmth and filling comfort.

We were hesitant to write a review for Cocorea because we dine there frequently and it can be difficult to secure a table. However, we keep coming back because the food is always delicious, the staff is friendly and efficient, the prices are reasonable, and the menu offers a great variety that pleases everyone. Cocorea is located in Garema Place and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant has recently been renovated and the menu has been updated slightly, but the food remains consistently good. We are excited to try some of the new menu items in the future.

Great food, great location. Fast and efficient service. Nice and sharp menu. Interior design can be improved but that's only secondary when you have great food!
