Contribuiți la feedbackThe shop is wedged between other eateries on Long Street and can easily be missed. We popped in just before they were about to close on a Saturday afternoon, which I assume was the reason for the fairly polite, but to the point service. This was a real shame because passionate, knowledgeable service is important for this kind of specialist experience. The shop itself was very cute, with some baked goods, loads of delicious sounding flavour combinations and interesting tea trinkets to explore. Although tiny, the courtyard is just lovely. I quite enjoyed my rose infused tea, which came with a promise of mental invigoration. My husband was unimpressed with his frothy green tea, and was unable to drink it despite the the initial reason for his selection unparalleled concentration and clarity. Although not a great first experience I'm quite a tea enthusiast so I'd probably give it another go.
Lady bonins tea bar is a cute little shop on long street with a small courtyard where you can enjoy your tea. I decided to go for the tea of the week, the rooibos chocolate chilli which was really delicious and had just a hint of chocolate and chilli. The service was great and super friendly. Would definitely be back to try more teas.
This little gem is just exquisite. Staff is so sweet and tea can be as sweet or as bitter as you want. Had the chilli chocolate and i now call it a 'hug in a mug '. London fog was unique too. Sat outside in the little courtyard and slowly sipped our problems away. At least it felt that way!
What more could you ask for than some lovely tea on a rainy afternoon : A+ for their lovely selection of quality loose leaf teas. Enough with all the coffee shops. It's about time we are re introduced to the age old culture of consuming tea. Come get your daily caffeine boost with your tea without the jitters that you would get from consuming coffee... its a way more smoother boost as tea contains theanine which lowers the side effects of caffeine such as the jitters and it actually adds more focus and concentration when it is combined with caffeine caffeine and theanine have a synergistic balance. Ever wondered why the monks drink so much green tea and then sit and meditate for hours?! :P
Lovely quiet tea experience. Love their Rooibos blends. Great courtyard seating in beautiful setting.
