Mamaleh's - Cambridge

Deli with bagels and sandwiches and bagel sandwiches. I’ve heard great things about the lox sandwich, but I got the egg and cheese. Service was super nice, 10% tip is automatically added. The sandwich was very average but in a good way. It’s a solid meal with nothing over-the-top. You know what you’re gonna get if you go here, and you’re not gonna be charged a ridiculous price for it. Edit: Updating my review to 5 stars after going back and trying the bagel. Delicious cream cheese, you must try a bagel if you go.

I always love eating at Mamaleh’s! Do yourself a favor and get the Pastrami Egg and Cheese sandwich because it is incredible. I recently tried their Latkes for the first time and that was also tasty, especially with the apple sauce and sour cream side. Overall it is a treat to come here and I would recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

Discovered via an Off the Beaten Path Food Tour, now I'm a regular. My favorites include their fun holiday food like reuben dumplings during Hanukkah/Christmas. They make delicious food from baked goods to sandwiches to salads. They're also doing some interesting suburban pickups so if you're outside of the food delivery area you could still eat there. A very special new Boston institution! Yum! 5 stars

This is a fantastic place for a morning bagel and coffee. I make it a point to visit every time I'm in Cambridge. While it can be a bit expensive, the quality of the food and coffee makes it worth it. The atmosphere is lovely and reminds me of New York diners. The staff is great; they’ve always been friendly and attentive.
