Bertucci's Kendall Square - Cambridge

The staff was excellent, seating us quickly in a spacious booth. We ordered a large prosciutto and arugula pizza (with leftovers to take home) which came with a generous salad that easily fed two. Our waitress also served warm bread rolls with a spicy oil for dipping. Every dish was delicious and the total cost was only $20.

This joint in particular is an MIT favorite. I was first introduced to Bertucci 's when every-other-event at MIT ordered huge pizzas and they came with sacks of the most incredible bread rolls ever. The food is great. I recommend getting their Caesar salad: it 's crispy and has huge shavings of parmesan cheese. Their pizza is amazing, with a nice crispy crust and yet with a foldable elasticity, like NY style pizzas. Sometimes the service is a bit lacking, like not getting drink refills or another serving of salad when we order the 'bottomless salad ', but these can be excused by the delicious brick-oven cooked food.
