Tropico - Calvià

As a well travelled couple in our late 50s this is by far the WORST accommodation we have EVER stayed in. Filthy in all areas No maintenance or repair Severe breaches of H&S (fire doors propped open with rocks) Severe breaches of food hygiene Inedible food cold, uncovered Rude staff No lift or lighting along the 73 stone steps we had to endure to our room Steps strewn with debri and fag ends flower pots full of rubbish Pool tiles, handrails missing, green scum around top, sunbeds/brollies rusty and broken Mouldy, rusty fruit fridge Dirty coffee machine Mouldy, rusty bathroom Stained sheets (slept on our beach towels) Mouldy shower curtain, frayed towels Balcony floor muddy VILE in EVERY aspect. Thank goodness we love the resort as spent no time in hotel!! Any good reviews must be fake and need investigating! HORRID HORRID HORRID

Loved our time here at hotel tropico, right by the beach and very close to many amenities. Bar is of a generous size however pool could be bigger.

Beautiful meal, beautiful atmosphere very attentive staff, lovely and clean covid aware !what else can you ask for! Thank you..xx

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Excellent food and drinks. Room is good. Very clean. Ask for extra pillows though !! One complaint is that in the evening the bar is full of cigarette smoke due to the smoking terrace at the front and people leave the door open. Not nice. Otherwise no problems

We called in tonight for a drink as we have done several times in the past week or so. I am disabled and use a mobility scooter and can only just walk a few paces on 2 crutches. Tonight the barman was very rude telling me that I should walk in, leaving the scooter on the footpath. He was adamant that I couldn't park my scooter adjacent to the side tables out of the way of people. He basically said that if I didn't like it to leave in a very rude and arrogant tone even though the place wasn't full at all. I for one will not be going back there and suggest that you don't.
