Washington Marriott Georgetown In Wash

Stayed five nights for work in July with platinum elite status. Overall it was awesome! The front desk and a majority of the M lounge staff was fantastic. Check-in was quick and painless. Was given the choice of points or pantry items up to $10. I chose points. Room was great overall but there was some stains around the sink area and the shower was too narrow. I kept hitting my elbow into the shower door handle. I received an upgraded room which was a corner king, in theory it would have been amazing with the extra windows but in July it made the room hot during the day and the car noises come through louder. If you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. I was able to hear sirens, motorcycles and even doors being closed in the halls at 2AM. M lounge was great! They offered coffee tea, soda, water, fruits, nuts and chips throughout the day. Breakfast was the same daily: bacon, sausage, scrambled/hard boiled eggs, potatoes, breads, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit and juices. From 5:30-7:30pm they offered small plates which included on different nights beef Wellington, grilled chicken, pierogi, pasta. The ladies during the breakfast shift were a delight, super friendly. Be careful of the mosquitos that lurk in the lounge, I got 3 ankle bites before finally realizing

It’s just ok, staff do the minimum with a smile so I guess I can’t complain but nothing wow about this place. Rooms are humid and dark. Not much attention to detail or status members.

The workers here is rude and unprofessional I stayed here last year and oh my God, what a bad,bad, experience.I slept in the bed the next day I woke up with red bumps all on my neck and arms it was itching scratching.I immediately contact the manager of the hotel, nothing was done I call the corporate office they was rude and unprofessional and not concerned, nothing was done, I regret staying at the Marriott hotel where the bedding look like it was not clean where i broke me out, I know it was bed bugs they call someone to check for bed bugs they claim it was none trying to cover up the fact it was so be careful, every sense that day I never went back there. I stay at the embassy hotel which is way better the Marriott hotel can go right to hell along with there bed bugs. The Marriott hotel is low budget. I give this hotel a big fat zero keep in mind don't go there, but if you do check the sheets and covering and make sure there no bugs you might want to take your own can of bug spray or perhaps your own bed covers.
