Shawarma District - Calumet-Norvelt

Came here with coworker and got the chicken wrap. It was very good. I loved every bite and would come back again. Next time I'll try the bowl.

They decided to close Saturday at 4PM while it says they close 6PM online. Very disappointing. Show respect to your clients.

So full disclosure I went here specifically because of Tony Stark’s like in the avengers.Did not disappoint. The owner was great and the food was amazing. It’s street food at its best. Walk in walk out with some amazing meat. What’s not to love?

Delicious. The best shawarma we’ve had outside of Israel (Israel is hard to beat! . Set up like a Subway or Chipotle—you decide which toppings go into your shawarma. Lots of fresh and colorful toppings to pick from. You pick a meat and then decide if you want hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickles, pickled cabbage, pickled purple things that I think are turnips lol. You get the gist—so many ingredients to add to your shawarma.They were so friendly, too. Almost felt like we had a caring uncle taking care of our little family as we are there—they were so kind to our kids. Love this place.

I typically don’t give five stars away but this place mostly deserved all five stars and more. The staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were patient and took their time making our food. I accidentally lock the bathroom door and I didn’t receive the slightest of annoyance that you might usually receive. It is a tiny restaurant but their seating outside. It is very clean and well kept restaurant. You can usually tell how well the kitchen is clean by how well the bathrooms are kept clean because the same ppl cooking your food is also using the same bathroom.
