U Ranch National Historic Site

Worth the trip from Kalgary. The presentations are great; the interior of the building is carefully “staged” and adds life to an already authentic decor. Only enough to read on boards; many photos and illustrations. Just English. Good for kids. We had only 1 staff, but they gnädig did 2 presentations: the campsite and the Lasso throw. We also made the horse carriage tour (15min around the ranch). The outer parts of the website are very hot in summer: with hat and sun protection. Buildings are shaded and cool.

We got on the ranch on the first. October 2022 married and it was only AMAZING! The staff felt like the family and went beyond and beyond to make our day a kind and a perfect unforgettable experience. We planned our wedding in 10 weeks, had 100 people, and they helped pull this magical day with us with ease and you would have thought it took a year or more to plan. They worked with us to create a menu in our budget and the food was delicious and plentiful. There are so many photo possibilities that we could not even use any idea and still have many shots that were simply spectacular and captured our vision perfectly. This location is a hidden gem and underestimated in my eyes, while other places had a 2 year waiting list and that's WAY more expensive, this location was available in 2022 and in short sight one of the busiest years for weddings still after records). I can't say enough good things about this place if you are looking for some kind of land topics wedding, you can't go wrong with this gem. I'm still in shock, how affordable it was and I literally had a wedding of my dreams, that even a horse pulled car I arrived, and we used for pictures and that my guests also drive. The whole event “Grand total” for the whole day does not even have the “minimum” for some other places comparable to it. recommend hands down and hands down would choose this place again and again. I will definitely be a regular visitor here, as it holds such special memories for us and will always be Magical for us.

I love this place. Beautiful atmosphere and interesting history, in a perfect picturesque valley in the foothills. The staff is always welcoming and one of the best parts sits around the campfire next to the old food car chat. Always try to visit once a year. During my last visit I brought my 1917 Kodak and took some shots of the ranch.

Our group The Wildies came to the day of Ranch Rodeo on the 21st August. So an honor to mix and mix with people in this beautiful historical ranch!

6/5. The staff there is just amazing. From information staff to the ones outside and then ones at the food counter. Amazing customer service and it's a beautiful place full of history and the people working there make it much more fun and a great experience.
