Food was ok. Funny thing is I saw my chicken & waffles sit for 5 minutes before they brought them out. Taste was good but food was cold sitting that long. If meal timing is off either send out food so it is warm and apologize about timing issue but let a person have warm food. Kitchen was overwhelmed and restaurant was really empty. Service with Madison was great, as she is super friendly and personable. The best thing about meal was her service. Not a place to come back to with so many options. They did cover the cost of waffles but I would prefer warm food.

Was having a lovely stroll down 17th Ave when we spotted a sign outside of Roosevelt advertising brunch. I'm a sucker for a traditional breakfast so in we went. We slid into a large and comfy booth and started to mull over the extensive menu. Tons of great items but I had to go with the tried and true bacon & eggs. Hubby ordered the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich and of course a pint. The service was friendly and attentive and our server Andrea was just lovely. Our food arrived promptly and we were blown away with the huge servings and care put into each plate. My eggs were perfect sunnyside up and the bacon still had some life left in it. Not a fan of the rock hard microwaved preparation. 2 slices of multigrain toast were still warm and the perfect amount of butter on top. The star of the plate was the tater tots. I'm not as big a fan as my hubby who loves the little buggers but they sure were good. He was pretty happy too cuz I could only eat half on my plate so he was a sport and finished mine up. His grilled cheese sandwich was huge and the only noises coming from across the table were chewing and "so good" when asked how it was.Probably the best part of our meal was when the bill arrived. Each entree was $11 and our total bill was $30. Did I mention the delicious maple bacon milkshake that was a Saturday freebie? We can't wait to go back. We won't even think of anywhere else on the restaurant jam packed 17th Ave.

We came in for brunch at Roosevelt and Andrea was our server. She probably made the best ceaser I've ever had. She was always laughing and made our experience at Roosevelt so much better... Thanks for the great service Matt

Roosevelt is my favorite go-to spot to watch the game or just catch up with friends over drinks. I went in this week for after work drinks and appies and was delighted by the service. Amanda made sure our experience was wonderful. We will be returning for many more visits.
