Noodle World Vietnamese Restaurant

The people in our office go to Noodle World on a weekly basis, either to dine in or get take out. The cuisine is Vietnamese, and the quality has been consistently good for years. We have some vegetarians in our group, and Noodle World has quite a few vegetarian options, including vegetarian pho made without bone broth. I've had several things on the menu, but I always go back to the 20B coconut milk satay noodle soup, which I think is the very best Vietnamese soup in Calgary (and I've had dozens of satay soups in Calgary). The broth is rich, creamy, peanut y and spicy...delicious! Lastly, the ladies working here are dedicated and kind and friendly. So disappointed. I decided to order this because I couldn’t find the last Vietnamese restaurant on SkipTheDishes that I went to the last place. I went to had the most amazing flavourful broth. These guys had a broth that almost had no flavor. Your spring rolls were almost $10 and they were chewy and not that great I will not order from here again.

Had the sate beef pho. It was alright. Broth was not as deep and flavourful as I’ve had at other places and the beef content was very minimal.I may try one more dish another time

Sate beef pho comparable to neighbouring establishment, very excellent. Service is great, staff is very friendly. Portions are huge. Only tried the sate, but other plates looked delicious as well.

Pretty disappointed. Pho broth was the sweetest I have had in a long time. Was not edible. The clear soup with pork and shrimp also all I tasted was sugar. People perceive sweetness as tasty. Probably why they make it this way. the broth here was sugar bomb. the fish sauce that came with the broken rice was so watered down it.
