Contribuiți la feedbackTasty little spot. Cheap and yummy. Extremely busy at lunch hour prepare to be patient everything is cooked on spot comes out piping hot. I had the pork calamary bibimbap comes with a couple pickled fixings.
Come early as it gets really busy at lunch time. My coworkers brought me here for the first time and suggested the traditional style stone bowl Bibim bap. We had to wait a bit cuz they had to heat up the stone bowls and cook the meat. It came with a bowl of miso soup and side of kimchi and bean sprouts. It was a good deal for $9.95. It also comes with gochujang sauce for the rice and the stone bowl kept the rice hot until the last bite. i didn't even end up finishing it all and took the leftovers to go. Definitely will be back again.
Kim Chi House is a cozy, family-owned restaurant located in an Asian mall. We arrived just after 6pm and were happy to find that they were still open. The food court was quiet, giving us plenty of seating options. I ordered the Bul Go Ki and my husband tried the Spicy Squid Bok Um. My dish came with rice and soup, and we shared two delicious side dishes - kimchi and pickled sprouts. The food tasted fresh and homemade, with just the right amount of spice and sauce. The portions were generous and satisfying. My husband's dish came out sizzling hot in a cast iron skillet, and he soon started sweating from the heat. We both enjoyed the complimentary brown rice tea. I will definitely be returning, especially during quieter evenings in the food court.
BI BIM BAP! Just order it. Any kind. DELISH. be sure to give it a minute to crust up some of the bottom rice and add the small bowl ingredients they bring (if I was more foodie I would know what they are other than delicious additions to an already delicious bowl of delicious . Be cautious with the chili sauce but, add some. <br/ <br/ Don't miss the barley tea (free! .
I would have given 4.5 stars if I could, but 5 stars might be a bit much, haha. The Beef Stone Bowl (the traditional one) was really delicious. It came with two appetizers and a bowl of miso soup as part of the lunch combo. The stone bowl was heated up just right so that the rice at the bottom was still a bit crispy. All the ingredients were fresh and well-combined. I asked for a fully cooked egg and no lettuce as I am pregnant, but otherwise, it would have been even more enjoyable, haha. The tofu soup was also tasty, with a bit of spice and sourness, and maybe a touch of saltiness, but we still enjoyed it. It also came with a bowl of rice.
