Aux Delices - Calderdale

We have visited this restaurant twice now - once for drinks and then again for an early dinner. On both occasions, the staff were very friendly and the service was impeccable. The prices are fair and all the food we had was delicious. We will definitely be returning and plan to bring along friends and family to experience it as well!

When visiting a new area with friends, the task of finding a good place to eat can be a challenge. Just before arriving at the popular tourist resort of Hebden Bridge on the road from Halifax, there is a place called Mytholmroyd with a uniquely named Bar and Tapas. The bright facade of the restaurant offers one of the best tapas bars in the area. Upon arrival, you are given a large paper menu where you can tick off the wide variety of tapas dishes you would like to try. We ordered a selection for four people, which was just the right amount. The slow cooked shredded lamb and the Shetland king scallops were particularly delicious. Other dishes such as the veg paella and fish curry are also recommended. The service was excellent, and the owner, who has been running the restaurant for ten years, was very welcoming and helpful.
