Cafe Fika - Cairns

The first thing that struck me about this place was it was obvious that there was a great employee culture. The staff were chirpy and happy to make conversation with the customers just as readily as they would to each other without shirking their work. The next good sign was they had a troupe of regulars whom they knew by name and their regular order from the extensive coffee list.Before I went in there for breakfast one morning, I had no idea what brown cheese was, but I left there very satisfied having had their brown cheese and jam waffles while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere and a lovely chat with the lady who served me.
