Another awesome lunch at Take Sushi on Hastings St in Burnaby. A wonderful modification on the Sunshine Roll to meet my Gluten Free needs. The mango is such a nice touch!!This is pairing nicely with my favorite Spicy Salmon Roll. The seared salmon was out of this world delicious and melted like butter as I bit into it. nArigatō Chef. SUGOI!!!!

Great food, generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. Best sushi place in town!

Not every dish is worth 5 stars here but their chicken teriyaki, chicken karaoke combo, and calamari salad is worth 5 stars. Over the 4 years living in this neighborhood, these 3 dishes have been consistently delicious. I have tried their rolls and sushi too but while it isn't bad, I have another go to place for sushi and sashimi.

The food is not as good as we expected. We came at around 5/6pm and the restaurant was pretty empty, but it still took a long while until our food served. We ordered couple sushi roll and sashimi, they tasted like the fast food version. We were expecting something more equal to the price . Overall not recommended and won’t come back.

Very disappointed. I had a similar experience as another reviewer where it seems they neglect dine in customers and focus on take out. I was served miso soup 30 mins after placing an order. After a nearly an hour of waiting, I asked the server when my food would be ready and she went to check but never came back. I left hungry and super disappointed. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.
