Harusaki Sushi - Burlington

I recently dined at my local Asian restaurant, and while the food quality was commendable, I was disappointed by their takeout policies. Ordering takeout incurs additional charges for seemingly basic items like white sauce, priced at $1 for a 2 oz portion. This feels unfair, especially considering that it's complimentary for dine-in customers. These extra costs come as a surprise, particularly after the restaurant raised its prices. For dishes priced between $16-20, this additional expense doesn't sit well with me. I hope the restaurant reconsiders its takeout pricing policies to ensure a more consistent and fair experience for all customers.

It was one of the rudest experiences I've had at a restaurant by management. When we arrived, a lady on her phone approached us, didn't acknowledge us or say hi or anything, just grabbed menus and walked off. I assumed she wanted us to follow her so we did. She set the menus on the table and walked off. Still not sure if the table was for us or not, but we sat. Out waitress was nice. She seemed to be the only one working. The manager sat at a table nearby and proceeded to make business phone calls with her phone on speaker. It's great getting to hear the low prices she's paying for chicken and zucchini. It was so loud and her talking that it was incredibly distracting. It overshadowed the sound of any other patrons in the restaurant. She then hung up and started yet another conversation on speaker. Honestly, I'm mostly shocked a manager would act that way. If an employee acted like she did, they would have been written up or fired. I ordered the AAC roll, which should be asparagus, avocado, and cucumber. The nori was soggy and my roll was definitely missing the asparagus. It was a disappointment all around.
