Burleigh Beach Hut - Burleigh Waters

We visited the restaurant on New Year's Day for a takeaway to enjoy on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips with gravy, which was the best gravy I have ever tasted. It was just what we needed after a heavy New Year's Eve! The service was fast and efficient.

The manager of this restaurant needs to have a better understanding of customer service. The food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful, but the service is chaotic. They need to establish and enforce rules for their employees to follow. Our orders were mixed up and not all dishes arrived at our table. The bill was a mess. This restaurant only survives because of its location and tourist traffic. To the owner/manager: never move this restaurant from its current location or you will lose business quickly. Customers will not return, as they only come for the tourist experience.

Good value you breakfast, with a perfect view of burleigh beach. the only complaint i would have is their ordering system of yelling out numbers every minute or so, they need buzzers or a number machine.

It was a lovely experience to sit and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and eggs, bacon, and avocado on sourdough toast after a morning stroll. The service was fast and accommodating.
