Something everyone who travels to Jeseniky has to visit. Absolutely brilliant for children

Family and pet-friendly semi-open air gallery with wood carved statues. It is led by a local family, and Mr. Halouzka now together with his sons) have been working for 30 years on the presented statues, which is incredible to personally see. The entrance fee is quite inexpensive ~120 CZK/adult, 20 CZK/dog) and it takes about 1-1.5 hours to go through the entire area. The navigation arrows on the ground take you through a series of barns with the largest wood Bethlehem in the world and the largest carved painting that represents Czech history, accompanied by pre-recorded explanations in several languages. Exterior areas have a deer, several play and picnic areas for children and adults, many other wooden statues and occasionally you can have luck and talk to the owners or see them at work on new art pieces. They are also open all year round every day and have a nice café/buffet with a garden and a bird on the back. A bit surprisingly placed in the middle of nowhere, this place really deserves your visit and any support it can get.

I didn't enter, as I missed time for waterfall attraction.In many places you can come the following day if there is no time to see the all atraction to finish the rest. But here i would have to pay the full entry price and following day again. I actualy just wanted some coffee and meal as they advertise restaurant already far away from the road,but you cant get anything without paying entrance fee..Not great business oriented people..

It's a great place. My children enjoyed it
