Excellent Reuben, the best I ever had. Get it with the smoked meat. It is a lot of food.

I really love this place a few years back. Use to go here every weekend when I use to live around the area. I order a smoke meat hash and always hits the spot. But lately everytime I go back the smoke meat hash feels more like eggs and potatoes now. There's hardly any meat anymore wich is kinda sad.

Mile End Delicatessen exceeded expectations for brunch. The hash and omelettes were fantastic, and the Devoción coffee was delicious. The bustling atmosphere indicates its popularity, so I recommend making a reservation for a seamless experience. Definitely a five-star brunch spot!

Mile End is one of our favorite restaurants in Boerum Hill and is always an enjoyable time strong recommend. The matzo ball soup, corned beef reuben, and smaller noshes (cucumber salad, potato salad) are consistently strong and make for a great lunch. The staff in general are cheerful, helpful, and attentive. We almost always feel very welcome there. I say “almost” because there is one gentleman in the front of house who is inexplicably angry and rude, almost every time we go. One time another server sat us in a booth and he went out of his way to make us get up (the booth was just left empty when we left). Another time we walked in to ask for a table and he angrily told us he had already said there would be a wait (we had literally just walked in the door). I assume he’s an owner since I can’t imagine a business keeping someone this hostile to guests around, but it’s also possible this is somehow part of a quirky charm that is just lost on us. Will always come back. Will bring friends and loved ones. Would definitely recommend avoiding the furious dude with white hair who is determined to treat you like garbage.
