Gardens Gourmet Deli Grill - Brooklyn

The cashier was very nice and the sandwich was delicious! I got the Cinco de Mayo hero and it tasted very fresh. Also Rocko the cat greeted me upon entry and he’s just adorable

The gentleman working at the counter was extremely friendly and helped me create one of the most delicious pastrami sandwiches. Coming from Texas, it was a great experience to enjoy a little taste of local Brooklyn at this excellent restaurant.

I stopped by for a late lunch and went up to the counter to order a sandwich. The clerk informed me that he was unable to make the sandwich because the person who usually makes them was not there. Despite it being 2 o'clock in the afternoon, he had no idea when the sandwich maker would return. When I asked if he could make the sandwich instead, he bluntly replied that he only works the register and someone else makes the food. It was frustrating to encounter such a lazy attitude, especially considering that making a sandwich requires no cooking. It felt like I was in a bizarre situation talking to this guy.

Love this neighborhood staple. Deli is great. Great beer selection. Higher end products available.
