Brixie's Saloon - Brookfield

Free Bacon Monday. Buy a drink, eat free bacon on Monday, but scratch a good pair with beer. Burgers are good (and on the pulp roll!, especially Bleu cheese and Bacon Burger. Pretty small simple bar, a few billiard tables, flipper and darts. Excellent bartender the night we left.

I didn't know they had food, but it's a fun place to get drunk and see friends from high school!

A friend who grew up in the area told me that earlier this was a hair band bar that was popular with the 70s tea crowds. Well, it's pretty elegant now with the best selection of brews and the best bar rides east of La Grange Road.

I've been here a long time. Today was the first time in a couple when years and nothing changed. Relaxing atmosphere, great beer, open billiard tables. Always fun.

Pretty delicious little dive bar. Have their BBQ fries.
