Maialino (vicino) - Broad Channel

Really cute place, went for brunch. The pork hash was fabulous but the pancakes were a disappoinment. The chicken sausage as a side is a MUST.

It has been five years since I dined at Maialino during an anniversary trip to New York City with my then-partner, and this restaurant has remained a vivid memory ever since. At that time, it was a stretch for my budget, making it a special treat to dine there. It provided the perfect excuse to dress up and enjoy the good life. The pork butt was cooked to perfection, and I often find myself reminiscing about how the outside fat transformed into a delightful crust. Just thinking about it makes me hungry! The service was outstanding, and I would absolutely return. Maialino is the perfect place for a celebration or a memorable night out.

What a wonderfully cozy trattoria atmosphere! The staff were friendly and incredibly attentive. Moving to this space was an excellent decision!

Back and better than ever! The new space has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere, and the staff consistently upholds an excellent standard of hospitality. All the cocktails and dishes I tried were fantastic, with the Bucatini all'Amatriciana, Maialino al Forno, and the Cherry Gelato being particular highlights. I will definitely return and highly recommend it!
