Home Kitchen - Broad Channel

A nice upper Eastside eatery. It was a salvation for us after an hours long walk through the central park. Can definitely vouch for oysters! However, pasta and burgers were also great.

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday at Home Kitchen! They made the night so special and fun. The fried chicken and white bean bruschettais by far the best thing I've ever had. Wonderful staff! Wonderful atmosphere! Can't wait to come back.

Ok, I think I just had the Platonic ideal of roast chicken. Peter, the charming and beyond-capable owner/host, said the goal of Home Kitchen was to offer food like you got at your parents' or grandparents' house.No offense, Mom, Nana, or Grandma, but WHY WAS I NOT PUT UP FOR ADOPTION?I am not proud of the picture below, but let it be noted it is a testament to the deliciousness of the chicken. Sometimes, taste trumps vanity.

This place was great! My friend and I were visiting New York for a few days and were struggling to find decent food around Times Square besides pizza and burgers ?. We saw this place on google and thought we would give it a try based on the reviews. I got the cobb salad and my friend got the beet salad. Both salads were fresh and tasty. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I would visit again if I come back to NYC.

The food was lovely but I didn't like that I had to ask for bread when there was a set up for it.
