Coffee Project New York Chelsea

Delicious food. Snacks, breakfast and lunch. Had a wonderful egg salad on a croissant with cranberries.

I used to go to a different cafe but I’ve changed my mind completely to coffee project. They are close to my restaurant and the beans are high quality. They got me by adding honey to my oat latte, I am a regular now. Yay!

Overall rating: 4.5 That almond croissant was $7. It was good. And I already knew the coffee was going to be expensive. That’s the world we live in. But for the croissant too I though I had a few years left. Surprisingly, steep prices aren’t the reason for this rating. There are some tables that say this is a “laptop-free table”. I go into a coffee shop during the workday to work. Limiting tables is a bad look in my opinion.

Pretty inarguably top 3 or 5 coffee in NYC. Their drip comes out of a Ground Control batch brew machine and is exceptional. Kind baristas, great decor, and most importantly exceptional coffee.

The larger food items are incredibly good (if a bit expensive). The avocado toast in particular is meal quality, maybe even worth a trip. The drinks are a bit on the meh side though, and the atmosphere is a bit sterile not uncomfortable, but not comfortable and devoid of personality. Still, those meals are great and it 's not a bad place to get a bit of work done.
