I went for a combi-Udon pot, as I chew a little for my udon, this place is on the point and I love it served in a hot pot instead of in a bowl. (knos point)
Along Turton Street at Sunnybank, a small foodie hub is forming, with Seoul Bistro and Wara BBQ being situated there, another long time resident is 7-8 Coffee Shop, which used to be situated at Robertson Shopping Complex near QEII hospital. Whilst the name is a bit ambiguous, it sells a mix of Taiwanese and Japanese fusion dishes. We went with a couple of friends on a hot summer's evening for a quick dinner.

The only redeeming quality of this coffee shop is the fact that they can get groundless rice when their order came with rice. with decoration, considered by the native as comfortable and lived in, 7 8 is a stone throw away to be converted into a homeless shelter. Perhaps the owners should rethink a suitable name for the joint to reflect the quality of their food: 0 1 coffee shop.

Apart from tasting great, the dishes are also really nice and neatly served. the restaurant is busy in the regular around the evening meal, so it becomes a bit more difficult to catch their attention as they gleam past. however, their service is fast and efficient as they provide their requests quickly. the restaurant is a little small (but comfortable) so early to get seated. I love her kimchi hotpot, sanma broiled fish and katsudon! but I recommend trying all the different dishes and drinks that they really like...read more
