Pullmans KG Bar - BRISBANE CITY

I recently dined at this restaurant after being limited in mobility due to a broken leg. I found the room service menu to be a bit lacking, so I made my way to the restaurant despite renovations in the bar area. The menu at the restaurant was essentially the same as room service, with the addition of options like fish and steak. I opted for the steak, which was flavorful but difficult to chew and cut with my injured hand. The service from Elizabeth was outstanding, as she went above and beyond to provide me with a blanket and even offered me her jacket to keep warm. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, but I suggest expanding the menu until the bar renovations are complete.

I visited this bar during the stay in Pullman in Brisbane. It's dark, quiet and plays old music. I enjoyed the ambience. A book with me, ordered a bowl with regular frits with Aioli and a glass of wine and simply enjoyed the tranquility. However... this was the early afternoon so if you enjoy an upbeat bar.... it really kicks up at about 5.30!

Visited this bar as guests of the Pullman hotel and were not impressed at all. Bartender messed up our drinks on three separate rounds bourbon coke instead of rum, vodka lemonade instead of lime soda, and a light beer instead of...heavy beer (when we returned the incorrect beer he said they didn't have the particular beer we wanted, even though he had served us the heavy beer in the last round of drinks). Cocktails on the menu but they had to run out to the restaurant for limes and mint leaves because the bar didn't have ingredients on hand. The bar is really dark and feels quite seedy at any time of the day. Would not recommend and even the lure of complimentary hotel guest drinks wouldn't bring me back.

On Boxing Day, when everything else was closed and we were too tired to look for another option, we decided to eat at this restaurant near our hotel. Despite being hungry, we couldn't finish our meals and left three plates uneaten. The service staff seemed unfocused and made mistakes, like bringing me the wrong beer. Overall, the menu was unclean and overpriced, and the simple dishes I ordered were disappointing.

Very good, good room, staff very friendly and helpful. Good location for shops and restaurants.
