Mad Mex - BRISBANE AIRPORT

I've been enjoying these Mexican delights available here for several years now, so I really thought they deserved my positive review to let you know how good fast food actually can be. It's really great! Not too fancy to be too expensive, and not too commercial to have lost touch with the Latino spirit. I love their Grande Melt for an indulgent lunch, but my typical choice is the old favorite - a Polo Burrito with added guacamole! Olé!

This fast food mexican outlet is located in the food court adjacent to the Virgin departures.I had the nachos where you choose your own ingredients. I paid extra for guacomole. It comes with a liquid cheese and tasted quite good but doesnt look that good on the plate (see my pic)They were not busy but the two young male staff members were very slow in the preparation.

An just about ok place to get a tea/coffee at the airport waiting for your flight. Plenty of seating, fairly sullen service, and as at most airport outlets, expensive for what you are getting.

A search around Garden City for a quick meal yielded this fast food place.

3 soft tacos ($10.90) and a side order of tortilla chips and queso cheese/nacho cheese ($3).
