Osteria La Colonna - BRESCIA

We had a good modestly priced meal at the Ostreria La Colonna. My husband insisted on trying horse meat, which they seem to specialise in. It was less strongly flavoured than he expected and he was glad he had tried it. I particularly enjoyed my sweet pasta tart (Tagliolini), Service was friendly and helpful.

This hidden gem is easy to miss, but all the locals know about it! We've eaten here 2x and its always packed. If you want to eat outside, best to call ahead, but you can chance it also. They only have 3 outside tables, however, and as I said it's always crowded with office workers. The meals were authentic from brescia and great.

Very tiny but very special place. Excellent fresh food and very nice service. Try the tartar ! Many visitors from surrounding offices.

Piatti regionali deliziosi in un ambiente rustico. il personale è cordiale e attento ai dettagli. la taverna si trova nella zona storica, un po' nascosta e 'no turismo... merita un pranzo! presto

Buon cibo e buon servizio, personale disponibile e gentile, Tartufo caso davvero buono, solo pecca il vino della casa, non troppo buono
