Whiskey Star Smokehouse - BRECKENRIDGE

This place in my opinion has the best whiskey, scotch and bourbon selection in Breckenridge Colorado. They have great old fashions. You can get them served in a wood barrel while be smoked. There is a up charge for this though but we?ll worth the experience. They have inside and outside seating with a fire pit and it?s right on Main Street. They also have a barbecue place in there. They also have a small Balcony upstairs that?s outside. I highly recommend this place and

Really great food, but service is standard pit BBQ order in a cafeteria style line and get fresh food on your plate. It can take forever though, if you're going during rush hour. Atmosphere 8/10 classic BBQ and bar. Nice and cool atmosphere Food 10/10 the brisket was fantastic as was the turkey and loaded brisket Mac and cheese. Best Mac and cheese I've ever had. Very good. The cornbread was a tad on the dry side, but much better than other places. Drinks

Awesome food and an awesome vibe!! The baked potato with pulled pork was great, but the brisket dinner was fantastic! I loved the cole slaw (which is a requirement with BBQ) and the mac cheese was good. The Whiskey Star Old Fashioned was excellent! It uses the local whiskey from the Breckenridge Distillery. Will be back next time we visit Breckenridge!

Some of the food was pretty good. Smoked turkey, sausage, and chopped brisket were the favorites of our group. All had a good, smoky flavor. The wet portions of the sliced brisket were excellent! I found the corn bread to be a bit dry (I don?t think it was b/c it was southern-style, since it was sweet). I was also disappointed with the brisket. I asked for wet brisket, and the portions that were wet were great! But most of it was dry (however it still had good flavor). All

We had the brisket Mac n Cheese with a 1 meat platter of brisket, whiskey beans, and potato salad. The whiskey beans were amazing. I wasn?t a huge fan of the potato salad but I prefer mustard based. The flavor of the brisket was spot on but if I were to critique it, it was on the dry side. The atmosphere was great and they have a huge selection of whiskeys with good beers as well. I highly recommend!
