Contribuiți la feedbackThe day after the birthday party in Koblenz we wanted to take advantage of the family after the cosy breakfast. Great weather, so we migrate the highway. The Marksburg, from the 12th century, had not visited my husband and I. So this was on the program with dream weather. The Marksburg good access with sufficient parking for very small money. Very nice parking staff. We exchanged the shoes into the “residential” version, which proved to be quite a good idea. Guided tours are offered at Marksburg and we wanted to see them. It is the only high castle in the Middle Rhine Valley that has never been destroyed. Until the next guide, sufficient time remained to fill the liquid balance. We were not hungry after the late breakfast. . The self-service restaurant offered a really appealing impression. Drinks, cold and hot dishes, ice cream, cakes and cakes are offered to guests at reasonable prices. With two alcohol-free pils we took place on the terrace. So well maintained and designed with many flowers and sufficient parasols, many restaurants are not. A great view of the Rhine Valley is free of charge. A family celebration was organised in the outskirts and served here illustrative dishes. The “Schmier” bread time) does not have to be packed for a trip to the Marksburg. Here you feel welcome as a guest. Also the loose guide with a highly-engaged young man was absolutely top and is only recommended. He got so much earned tip after the tour, I was so worried that this would pull his pants down!
